Position Overview:
The HR Generalist focusing on Talent Acquisition plays a crucial role in the Human Resources department, working under the guidance of the HR Manager. This position is integral to supporting the organization's mission through effective human resource practices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Recruitment and Hiring:**
- Engage in the recruitment process by identifying, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates for various positions.
- Collaborate with department heads to ascertain the necessary skills and competencies for open roles.

2. **Job Posting and Candidate Sourcing:**
- Manage the posting of job vacancies across multiple platforms, including job boards and professional networks.
- Build a robust candidate pipeline by connecting with community organizations, educational institutions, and recruitment agencies.

3. **Candidate Representation:**
- Act as a representative at local recruitment events and job fairs to attract potential candidates.

4. **Pre-Employment Process Management:**
- Oversee the offer letter and pre-employment procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including background checks and credential verification.

5. **Orientation and Employee Engagement:**
- Conduct new employee orientations and maintain orientation materials.
- Assist in employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.

6. **HR Policy Interpretation:**
- Provide guidance to employees and supervisors regarding HR policies and procedures, addressing inquiries and referring complex issues to the HR manager.

7. **Record Maintenance:**
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of employee records in all HR systems, including tracking recruitment metrics and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment and hiring.
- Familiarity with Federal and State Employment laws.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with HR software systems is preferred.

Work Environment:
The role requires the ability to work in a typical office setting, which may involve prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. The position may also require lifting and moving items up to 15 lbs.
