The Role: In the capacity of an Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be instrumental in assembling a skilled and dynamic workforce. Your collaboration with hiring managers will be key to understanding the specific technical requirements of our organization. You will engage in proactive candidate sourcing through diverse channels, including job boards and professional networking platforms, while also screening applications and conducting preliminary interviews to identify exceptional talent. Given the dynamic nature of a startup, adaptability and initiative are essential as you manage the recruitment process to facilitate rapid scaling while ensuring a strong cultural alignment. Your responsibilities may also encompass assisting with the onboarding process, ensuring new hires transition smoothly into our innovative and evolving work environment. This position is part-time and reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screening, scheduling, and interviewing of candidates
  • Source candidates through professional networks
  • Manage calendars and communicate with candidates regarding confirmations and follow-ups
  • Document candidate interactions within the recruitment Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Perform additional related tasks as required
  • Possess 2-3 years of experience in a professional recruitment setting
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrate the ability to source and conduct phone screenings for candidates
  • Have knowledge of various technical roles (e.g., software developers, data scientists) and the skills pertinent to each
  • Be familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems
