About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at HighCloud Solutions. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in assisting the Senior Project Manager on the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Assist the Senior Project Manager in coordinating project activities, including meeting with project team members, vendors, and stakeholders to analyze and document current state technology systems and business processes.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather and document business requirements for the EAM project, including identifying and developing asset performance measures, key performance indicators, quality assurance metrics, and improvement measures.
  • Business Process Improvement: Assist in developing and implementing business process improvements to drive a more consistent, efficient, and effective asset management capacity for the Council.
  • Technology Strategic Roadmap Planning: Assist in developing and implementing a technology strategic roadmap to ensure alignment with business capabilities and technology needs.
  • Requirements Traceability Matrix: Create and maintain a requirements traceability matrix to ensure that all requirements are properly documented and tracked.
  • Test Case Development: Develop and maintain test cases to ensure that all requirements are properly tested.
  • Consensus Building: Build consensus across groups on future state workflows and business processes.
  • Operational and Regulatory Reporting: Assist in developing and providing operational and regulatory report capabilities, including flow charts, statistical trend analysis, and dashboards.
  • Data Migration: Assist in migrating data from existing systems to the new EAM system, including understanding of ROT (Redundant, Obsolete, and Trivial) data cleansing, flat file data review, dataset identification, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) work.

Requirements:

  • Business Analysis Experience: 3+ years of experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, business process improvement, and project coordination.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagramming, Business Requirement Document (BRD) development, and Functional Specifications Documentation (FSD) development.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build consensus across groups and facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions.
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and ability to work in a waterfall and/or Agile environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
