Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Quality Assurance to support the Senior Project Manager on two critical PeopleSoft initiatives: Procure to Pay and Time & Attendance.
Project Scope:
The Procure to Pay initiative aims to deliver a real-time solution where one previously did not exist, consolidating various tools into a more efficient contract and supplier management system. This software will integrate workflows to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and improve reporting and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage regularly with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to analyze, map, and document the current state of technology systems and business operations.
- Demonstrate strong investigative and analytical skills to extract insights from diverse information sources.
- Facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions to gather requirements effectively.
- Drive the creation of strategic project artifacts, including Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications Documentation (FSD), Use Cases, Business Cases, Feasibility Studies, and Gap Analyses.
- Possess a solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and work effectively in both waterfall and Agile environments.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Technology partners to implement eProcurement, Contract Management, Supplier Portals, and Strategic Sourcing solutions.
- Maintain a requirements traceability matrix and develop comprehensive test cases.
- Build consensus among stakeholders regarding future workflows and business processes.
- Assist in the strategic planning of technology roadmaps to ensure alignment with business capabilities and technological needs.
- Identify and establish performance measures, key performance indicators, quality assurance metrics, and improvement measures across multi-functional teams.
- Support the development of operational and regulatory reporting capabilities, including flow charts, statistical trend analyses, and dashboards related to asset management.
- Conduct functional requirement gathering for projects and initiatives, creating standardized use cases for implementation teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Have experience in data management and migration, including knowledge of Redundant, Obsolete, and Trivial (ROT) data cleansing, flat file data review, dataset identification, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Consult and collaborate with managers, supervisors, and other departments to identify business requirements and opportunities for enhancing asset management practices.
