About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Kincaid. As a key member of our culinary leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our upscale fine dining establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction through a commitment to a "Do Whatever It Takes Attitude" and a hands-on, lead-by-example management style.
  • Culinary Leadership: Manage all back-of-house staff in an upscale fine dining kitchen, including ongoing training, development, and follow-up.
  • Cost Management: Achieve or exceed budgeted labor and other cost centers through proper planning and execution.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee weekly and monthly inventories, and ordering of food and supplies.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area adhering to all OSHA regulations.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: At least 5 years of culinary management experience, with at least 2 years as an Executive Chef in an upscale fine dining establishment.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Strong knowledge and attention to detail on back-of-house operations, including staff supervision, inventory controls, and food/labor cost, and product quality.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Work History: Stable and progressive work history; strong work ethic.
