Role Responsibilities...

The Marketing, Sales & Service division is crucial to Ford's evolution as a forward-thinking vehicle and mobility services organization, ensuring a reliable customer experience.

Ideal candidates will possess extensive knowledge in data implications and the ability to make informed decisions, along with a strong dedication to customer lifetime value.

Our team prioritizes an audience-first approach, fostering customer loyalty and promoting vehicle repurchase, alongside additional sales of vehicles, parts, and services.

We act as the eyes and ears of Ford, fulfilling customer needs by delivering the appropriate products to dealers promptly.


Key Duties...

  • Oversee and guide UAW hourly personnel.
  • Effectively delegate initiatives aimed at enhancing performance.
  • Maintain clear communication and foster productive relationships with hourly staff, salaried personnel, and union representatives.
  • Allocate daily tasks to meet safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
  • Ensure management of inbound and outbound materials in accordance with the Partners In Customer Satisfaction (PICS) Process.
  • Drive continuous improvement through oversight of the PICS process and the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).
  • Complete daily time reports for team members.
  • Provide supervisory coverage for inbound and outbound operations as needed.
  • Manage deadlines and timelines, navigating both planned and unexpected challenges.
  • Be flexible to work various shifts and overtime, including weekends.
  • Ensure accurate application of labor agreements.

Qualifications...

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a distribution center within a unionized setting.
  • At least 1 year of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data, assess alternative actions, and draw logical conclusions.
  • Goal-oriented team player.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Capability to earn respect and accountability from assigned employees.
  • College degree is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications...

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or Operations.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (MOMS, MMP, SAP, EXE).
  • Understanding of Container Management Systems (CMMS) and related processes.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems.

This position is classified as salary grade 6.
