Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and Unload Products: Safely load and unload products from pallets, racks, or floor onto trailers, containers, and railcars.
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Use hand trucks and heavy equipment such as single and double pallet jacks, pacers, or forklifts to move products.
  • Maintain a Safe Working Environment: Follow all safety regulations and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Identify and Report Damages: Identify any damages or shortages and report them to the lead or supervisor.
  • Separate Products: Separate products by UPC code or product description.
  • Apply Pallet Identification Labels: Apply all pallet identification labels to pallets built.
  • Meet Production Schedules: Expedite completion of work to meet production schedules.
Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Constantly standing, walking, riding, carrying, twisting, bending, balancing, seeing, hearing, and handling paperwork. Occasionally pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting preferred.
  • Certifications and Training: OSHA certification and training on motorized equipment required.
