Job Summary

The Service Sales Representative I is a key role in our organization, responsible for determining customer needs, developing solutions, and selling HVAC service agreements for commercial clients.

This position requires a professional with a strong background in HVAC sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine customer needs and develop solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Estimate work and sell HVAC service agreements for commercial clients.
  • Meet sales objectives and develop customer relationships.
  • Create a backlog of work to support short and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with other team members to generate more work for Services and maintain margins.
  • Monitor, report, and meet sales plan goals.
  • Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support achieving the designed sales plan.
  • Develop long-term relationships to create brand loyalty.
Requirements
  • Five (5) years' experience in HVAC, Mechanical, or related sales, selling owner-direct projects and maintenance agreements.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Organized and self-motivated with the ability to source leads, make cold calls, follow up calls, and visit potential clients.
  • Professional manner and appearance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
Travel Requirements

15% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles. Climbing stairs. Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
