Role Overview:
The Robotics Engineer plays a pivotal role in advancing the research and development of robotic and unmanned systems across various operational sectors and mission objectives.

This position operates at the convergence of software and hardware, focusing on the design, construction, testing, and demonstration of innovative robotic capabilities that tackle intricate client challenges in areas such as sensing, autonomy, and human interaction.

Employs fundamental principles, theories, and concepts, along with limited industry insights. Addresses routine issues of modest scope and complexity, escalating more intricate matters to higher authorities. Functions under direct supervision.

Essential Qualifications:
Experience in robotics engineering, including the construction and evaluation of robotic prototypes
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, ROS, or Rust
Understanding of mechanical systems, electronics, and software integration
Capability to present research findings and recommendations to clients and executive leadership
Eligibility to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with robotic simulation and testing software
Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in robotics
Knowledge of ML, computer vision, and deep learning algorithms
Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools, including GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Master's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Possession of a Secret clearance

Clearance Requirements:

The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 annually.

This estimate reflects the typical salary range for this role and is one component of Booz Allen's comprehensive compensation package for employees.


Work Model:


If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.

If this position is designated as onsite, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients in person, as required for the specific role.
