Position Overview:

The role involves working on critical control systems and instrumentation projects, requiring a strong presence on-site.

Work Schedule:

The position demands on-site presence with a typical schedule of 9/80, from 0700 to 1630, and flexibility for turnaround activities and project deliverables.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Honeywell DCS systems, with a solid foundation in engineering tools.
  • Experience with Experion Control Builder, HMI/Display Builder, C300 Controllers, and IOTA.
  • Familiarity with TPS Native Window, LCN, and HPM fundamentals.
  • Understanding of controls fundamentals, including single and complex loops.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation fundamentals, such as transmitters, valves, and other sensing elements.
  • Basic knowledge of PLCs and serial communication protocols; RTU experience is a plus.
  • Data management skills, particularly in Excel for data manipulation.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Excellent time management skills for handling multiple projects and providing accurate time estimates.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a refinery environment.
  • Engineering degree is required.
  • Possession of a TWIC card, along with successful completion of a drug test and background check.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Industry-leading compensation starting at $90/hr, based on experience.
