Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our restaurants by supervising colleagues and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise colleagues to ensure they perform their job responsibilities effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and profitability during each shift.
  • Ensure that all Little Caesars policies, procedures, and standards are upheld.
  • Perform cash management responsibilities and ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
  • Provide direction and feedback to colleagues and coach/counsel them to ensure job duties are performed and all Little Caesar standards are achieved.
  • Monitor shift activities to ensure compliance with food, paper, labor, and utility cost controls.
  • Complete all daily paperwork neatly and accurately.
  • Follow all procedures associated with opening and closing the restaurant, and handle unexpected occurrences in a timely and professional manner.

Nature and Scope:

The Assistant Manager receives direction and training from the Restaurant Manager and Co-Manager, and is responsible for supervising other colleagues. They must motivate, direct, and coach colleagues to work proficiently at their assigned stations and follow up to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

The Assistant Manager must abide by all state and federal laws, OSHA, and EEOC requirements, as well as practice and enforce all Little Caesars policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in restaurants, retail, or a position involving customer contact is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma, or equivalent, and possess basic math skills.
  • Possess excellent verbal communication and interpersonal relations skills.
  • Be dependable, hard working, and have the ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations.
  • Possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence with a driving record maintained within company guidelines.
  • Possess a reliable vehicle and auto insurance as a primary to complete daily banking and other responsibilities as directed by Manager or Area Supervisor.
