Surgery Referral Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgery Referral Coordinator to join our team at Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle. As a key member of our client service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and client service, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide outstanding client service, responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate patient appointments, surgeries, and follow-up care, ensuring accurate and efficient communication with clients, veterinarians, and hospital staff.
- Manage patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process payments, handle client inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care, including preparing patients for surgery, administering medications, and providing post-operative care.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or healthcare setting, preferably in a veterinary hospital or clinic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and hospital staff.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and practice management software.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
