Tapered Insulation Estimator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tapered Insulation Estimator to join our team at Convoy Supply. As a Tapered Insulation Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating tapered insulation projects, providing on-site support, and servicing professionals in the roofing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals, specifications, drawings, and related documents.
• Identify materials, labor, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, drawings, and related documents.
• Use Taper-plus and AutoCAD to produce detailed layouts for accurate, cost-effective estimates.
• Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Present prepared quotations by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
• Work within deadlines provided by customers, architects, and consultants.
• Maintain excellent relationships with sales staff and customers.
• Use AutoCAD to produce detailed shop drawings and counts for production staff.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

• Education: Construction, civil, or architectural technician/technologist, or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years' experience in project estimating or roofing industry.

• Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively.

• Ability to visualize 3-dimensional concepts and details.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb ladders or staging to access rooftops.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle.
