Job Overview

Position Title: Training Support Specialist – Culinary Excellence Division

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily management, upkeep, and accountability of all tools, facilities, and materials utilized in support of culinary training operations.
  • Handle equipment related to Mobile Kitchen Trailers, Containerized Kitchens, Food Safety Centers, Modern Cooking Units, and various field feeding systems; manage fuel operations for vehicles and stationary machinery; track and report on maintenance requests, site enhancements, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on the aforementioned equipment and military vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English proficiently.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Required to hold all necessary training and certifications.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Proficient in office automation tasks, including word processing, email communication, spreadsheets, and presentations; capable of converting rough drafts into polished documents; adept at maintaining records and organizing functional files.

Supervisory Role: None

Security Clearance: Must successfully pass a background check.

Work Environment:

Standard business hours are from 0800 to 1700, with flexible scheduling to accommodate training sessions from 0700 to 1800, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays or facility closures.

  • Position typically requires light physical activity, including occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
  • Job involves varying degrees of sitting, standing, and walking.

  • Clear communication skills and a strong command of the English language are essential.
  • Work is primarily conducted indoors.

Travel Requirements:

Travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) may be necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
