Position Title: Training Support Specialist (Military)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the upkeep of training facilities and equipment in preparation for events, including conducting daily preventive maintenance checks and services as per the established guidelines.
- Oversee the setup and dismantling of all training equipment utilized in field operations.
- Execute minor repairs and restoration tasks on equipment and vehicles, including rust treatment and touch-up painting.
- Conduct seasonal maintenance on training sites, including managing berms and performing gravel patching.
- Notify the site manager of any equipment needing corrective maintenance during routine checks.
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous military experience as an E5 with a minimum of five years in MOS 92F.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate lifting (up to 45 lbs.), prolonged standing, sitting, or walking, and working in various weather conditions.
- Completion of military licensing training within five business days of commencing duties.
- Capability to lift at least 50 lbs without assistance.
Security Clearance: Must possess or obtain a NACI Clearance and maintain it throughout the contract duration.
Work Environment: This role is conducted in a professional classroom and office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods while delivering training.
- Capable of maneuvering in and out of tactical equipment and lifting electronic devices exceeding 40 lbs in classroom and lab settings.
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
Position Type and Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Workdays exclude federal holidays and periods when government facilities are closed due to emergencies or administrative reasons.
Travel Requirements: Potential travel may be necessary within the continental United States.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
- Proof of U.S. citizenship may be required.
- Must maintain a U.S. Government issued NACI Clearance with a background check.
