Position Overview:
The Senior Product Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in our strategic approach to market engagement. This position requires collaboration across various departments to ensure a unified and impactful representation of Censys's market leadership. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in the security domain, enabling swift credibility with both sales teams and clients as a recognized authority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and articulate the distinctive value proposition of products, with a comprehensive understanding of target markets and customer profiles.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to create and implement a streamlined product launch framework.
- Generate engaging, high-quality product documentation across multiple formats, including print, digital, social media, and video.
- Work alongside content and demand generation teams to develop a marketing strategy that achieves or surpasses pipeline, bookings, and conversion objectives.
- Effectively manage and execute plans that span various functional areas, including product management, business development, and sales.
- Contribute to the creation and distribution of sales enablement resources to equip the sales team with strategies and competitive insights that enhance productivity and conversion rates.
- Engage with industry analysts such as Gartner and Forrester.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and document customer personas, use cases, and common objections.
- Regularly assess win/loss data, close rates, and other essential funnel metrics to inform product marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product marketing or a related field within a B2B SaaS environment, with a preference for candidates with cybersecurity experience.
- Exceptional communication, time management, writing, and project management abilities.
- Highly driven, collaborative, and results-oriented.
- Experience collaborating with sales teams, product management, media, and industry analysts.
- Strong organizational skills; excellent communication and presentation capabilities; self-directed and proactive.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment that demands high levels of productivity, commitment, adaptability, and initiative.
- Proficient in translating complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including executive-level security leaders and technical practitioners.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
The compensation range for this position is between $150,000 and $175,000, along with bonus eligibility and equity options.
