Overview:
Cybersecurity is a rapidly evolving field, and Verizon is at the forefront. As a Senior Director of Cybersecurity Sales, you will lead our practitioner-based sales model, driving revenue growth, ensuring profitability, and promoting continuous innovation. Your expertise will be instrumental in building trust with clients, leveraging your deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical knowledge and strategic sales acumen, with a proven track record of driving sales and delivery of security advisory and services across Enterprise, Public Sector, and Mid Market segments. If you have experience in leading high-performing sales teams, managing P&L, and developing strategic business plans, we want to hear from you.

We offer a hybrid work environment with flexibility to work from home and office, with a preference for locations near major US metropolitan centers. This role requires occasional travel. Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow the team: Enable, build, and scale a high-performing cybersecurity specialist sales team.
  • Pipeline development and expansion: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline that leverages the credibility of practitioner expertise.
  • Maintain deal margins: Ensure all sales align with profitability targets, supported by practitioner insights.

Requirements:
  • Technical and sales balance: Ability to blend deep technical expertise with strategic sales acumen.
  • Client-centric approach: Strong focus on building trust and relationships through direct practitioner engagement.
  • Continuous business development: Proven ability to facilitate ongoing sales through service delivery and relationship building.

What We're Looking For:
  • CISSP or CISM primary cybersecurity certification, with a secondary cybersecurity certification such as CISA, CISM, CCISO, or security technology certifications.
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity leading regional sales teams, with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles driving sales & delivery of security advisory and services across Enterprise, Public Sector, and Mid Market segments.
