Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Human Resources team as an Accommodation Specialist. This role will involve working closely with internal employees and external stakeholders to provide exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the interactive process for employee requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act, ensuring all documentation is delivered and received in a timely manner.
- Consult with Employee Relations, Human Resources, Benefit Operations, and Legal teams throughout the accommodation process.
- Provide support to employees in answering their questions and addressing their concerns.
- Manage consultations with people leaders to review essential job functions, accommodation requests, and feasibility of accommodations.
- Follow up with employees on documentation from their medical providers.
- Ensure accommodation approvals and denials are properly documented in Takeda's case management system.
- Handle multiple requests simultaneously across the US, working with different time zones to accommodate various needs.
