Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Homeless Resource Outreach Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with homeless individuals, connecting them with essential resources and services, and advocating for their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with homeless individuals, service providers, and community stakeholders
  • Connect homeless individuals with resources and services, including emergency shelters, SUD services, and mental health services
  • Conduct outreach and engagement activities in encampments and other areas where homeless individuals frequent
  • Document and record daily client interactions, including triage of individual needs, contacts, referrals, and site conditions
  • Work cooperatively with government agencies, service providers, and the general public
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience working in outreach or homelessness services
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
