Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to join our team at Class A/Luxury properties in the Twin Cities metro area. As a key member of our onsite crew, you will be responsible for managing the overall operations of your assigned properties and ensuring high-quality resident living while achieving long and short-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee financial and operational management of the property, including managing team members, daily activities, and resources.
- Create and maintain an environment that achieves high-quality customer service with residents and external partners.
- Ensure occupancy targets and rent collections are achieved through leasing and resident retention.
- Ambassador of Sail's core values, actively pursuing opportunities to reinforce core values in the day-to-day work of all team members.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and practices that are consistent with regulations and established corporate practices.
- Partner with Maintenance Technicians to ensure physical assets and grounds are operating at peak performance levels.
- Responsible for preparing the annual budget for the property by analyzing and evaluating financial statements, reviewing current and projected marketing information, and accessing operational reports.
- Assess capital needs for the property and operate the property within budgeted income and expense guidelines.
- Contribute to creation and execution of marketing plans for all communities within assigned portfolio, including reputation management and resident satisfaction.
- BA/BS degree strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in multifamily property management.
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing people and/or teams.
- Proficiency with property management software platforms, preferably Yardi.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Enthusiastic and motivational leadership abilities in managing teams of people to succeed.
- Proficient attention to detail, highly organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Strong financial aptitude and analytical skills.
