Client Relationship Manager

The Client Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our culinary offerings serve as a gateway to a rich and diverse gastronomic experience. At Abby's Catering, we pride ourselves on innovative, trend-setting menus that guarantee the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Our dedicated culinary team is committed to delivering an unforgettable dining experience while strictly adhering to industry-leading food safety standards.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to: Director of Food Service Management
Supervises: Chefs, Cooks, Catering Attendants, Baristas
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership, Management, and Accountability
- Commitment to Quality Food & Service
- Adherence to all Food Safety regulations
- Team scheduling based on event demands
- Minimizing overproduction and waste
- Maintaining data for financial oversight
- Developing and enhancing the technical skills of team members to ensure top-quality production
Position Requirements:
The Client Relationship Manager is tasked with negotiating all aspects related to scheduled events, including specifications such as rentals, décor, supplies, deliveries, setup/breakdown, scheduling, and payments. This role serves as the primary communication liaison for both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal oversight
- Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays as necessary
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (for verbal communication)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to interpret instructions, diagrams, and food menu specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft 360, Excel, and Word
- Flexible, analytical, and a proactive team player
- Thorough understanding of food and hygiene standards
- Possession of a valid Food Protection Manager Certificate recognized by local authorities (e.g., SERV Safe)
- Exceptional time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Knowledge of food preparation processes and current food trends
- Understanding of budget management and cost control related to labor and food purchasing
