Position Summary:
As the Equipment Finance Sales and Credit Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Equipment Finance Credit Department. Your responsibilities will include entering new submissions into our system, generating credit reports, liaising with brokers and bank personnel regarding submissions, and maintaining essential logs for approvals and funding. Additionally, you will be tasked with completing underwriting for application-only credit requests. This position requires close collaboration with team members in a dynamic credit environment and interaction with colleagues across the bank who refer transactions to our department. Delivering outstanding customer service to both clients and the account servicing team is crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage new equipment finance applications, including both application-only and short-form credit analyses.
  • Collaborate with internal referral sources to prepare and submit new loan requests for credit evaluation.
  • Update departmental reports, including approval and funding logs, past due reports, and title in process reports.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers, addressing inquiries related to billing, payoffs, account restructuring, and wire transfers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three years of relevant work experience aligned with the job function.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF; ability to quickly learn various web-based applications.
  • Strong research skills utilizing the internet.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with internal and external customers, including brokers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Clear and concise writing abilities.
  • Capability to calculate monthly loan payments.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of customer data and operations.
  • Proficiency in working independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree.
  • Five years of relevant work experience aligned with the job function.
  • Familiarity with Equipment Finance.
Working Conditions:
This role primarily involves administrative support tasks, which may include:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Lifting items weighing between 5 to 10 lbs.
  • Occasional bending or overhead lifting for file storage.
Work is conducted in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels. There may also be travel involved to customer and property locations.
