Position Summary:

The Commercial Sales Executive will be responsible for managing existing client accounts while fostering strong business relationships. This role also involves attracting new commercial clients to achieve sales objectives. The position plays a vital role in promoting the branch's brand in the areas of installation, service, and monitoring for commercial clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Engage with customers and prospects to assess their product or service requirements; recommend suitable products and services.
  • Provide comprehensive education to potential clients regarding available products and services.
  • Showcase the functionality and benefits of products or services to clients.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through continuous communication and relationship management; address any post-sale issues that may arise.
  • Keep in touch with current and former clients, informing them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be relevant.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any issues related to customer or vendor relationships.
  • Deliver periodic sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of the fire and security industry, or a willingness to learn, is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Thorough understanding of target market industries and strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
