About Us:

We are a premier accounting firm dedicated to serving high-profile musicians and professional athletes. We are currently in search of a talented Senior Bookkeeper or Staff Accountant to enhance our expanding team.

If you possess a passion for music and have over 5 years of experience in client bookkeeping within a CPA environment, along with a relevant degree, this position may be the perfect fit for you.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for 2 days of remote work and 3 days in the office. Our firm promotes a relaxed atmosphere that prioritizes work-life balance, particularly during busy seasons.

We are eager to find a candidate experienced with high net worth clients, preferably within the entertainment sector.

While familiarity with Agilink or experience at a music-focused CPA firm is advantageous, it is not mandatory. A strong background in client bookkeeping and proficiency in QuickBooks from another CPA firm is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct general bookkeeping tasks, including data entry into accounting software and regular account reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely payment of debts, maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Regularly reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare documentation for audits.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual budget and ongoing forecasting.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize Agilink software to enhance accounting efficiency.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Reconciliations, and Bookkeeping.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Familiarity with month-end closing and budgeting processes.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A passion for the music and entertainment industry is a plus.
