About Us:

We are seeking professionals with public accounting expertise who can effectively collaborate with clients on their financial and tax requirements. Our firm offers a unique environment where employees are not confined to either financial accounting or tax roles. Our focus is on financial services, including mortgage and banking sectors with revenues ranging from 0 to over $1 billion. We conduct audits, reviews, and compilations, alongside our tax responsibilities. The majority of our tax work is corporate-focused, with some involvement in preparing individual returns for our clients' employees.

Additionally, we have a robust business consulting division that specializes in mergers and acquisitions, valuations, financing arrangements, and succession planning. Our accountants are given the opportunity to participate in these significant transactions as part of the client team.

Experience with CCH Axcess and CCH Engagement is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of one year of accounting experience. The ideal candidate will also have experience in preparing returns for high-net-worth individuals, as well as corporate and partnership returns. Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning, managing, and executing tax return preparation, compliance, and advisory services for a diverse client portfolio, including S-Corporations, C-Corporations, and Partnerships.
  • Delivering tailored estate, trust, gift, and income tax planning and preparation services to high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Reviewing complex Federal, multi-state, and local tax returns.
  • Developing and implementing tax planning strategies for individuals and entities to achieve optimal tax outcomes.
  • Conducting research and providing consultation on tax issues, technical matters, and special projects.
  • Managing and resolving Internal Revenue Service audits and assisting clients with IRS, State, and local notices.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with clients and their other advisors to foster a collaborative environment and deliver exceptional service.
  • Overseeing, training, and mentoring junior staff members; participating in performance evaluations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Proficient in MS Office/Outlook; experience with CCH is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage workload effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and apply it to unique situations for problem resolution.
