Position Summary:
The Sales and Credit Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Equipment Finance Credit Department. This position involves managing new submissions, conducting credit evaluations, and liaising with brokers and bank personnel. The coordinator will maintain essential logs for approvals and funding while executing underwriting for application-only credit requests. Collaboration with team members in a dynamic credit environment is key, as is delivering outstanding customer service to both clients and the account servicing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee new equipment finance applications, including both application-only and short-form credit assessments.
- Collaborate with internal referral sources to prepare and submit loan requests for credit evaluation.
- Maintain and update departmental reports, including approval and funding logs, past due reports, and title processing reports.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to billing, payoffs, account restructuring, and wire transfers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF.
- Ability to conduct internet research effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Clear and concise writing abilities.
- Capability to calculate monthly loan payments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of customer information.
- Ability to work independently and effectively.
- Associate's degree.
- Five years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with Equipment Finance.
Work is conducted in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels. Responsibilities may require occasional travel to client locations.
