Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Exotic Automation & Supply. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining sales opportunities and business relationships for an assigned group of customers within a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Account Management: Develop and implement Customer Account Plans for assigned accounts, ensuring strong relationships and consistent sales growth.
  • Territory Planning: Develop and implement Territory Plans for assigned accounts, identifying new customer development needs and managing sales and gross margin for distribution and manufacturing.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Develop relationships with key decision-makers, negotiate premium margins, and obtain all applicable information for quotes.
  • Quote Management: Follow up on quotation opportunities, report via contact management system, and participate in large system contracts for surveys, inventory, and contract maintenance.
  • Customer Visitation: Develop and execute customer visitation plans in conjunction with the Territory Plan, identifying, documenting, and validating C.A.R.E. opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related area of responsibility or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Three years of experience in sales-related roles, with industry-specific experience preferred.
  • Skills: Proven ability to pioneer and develop new customers, product sales, and new markets; strong sales and negotiation skills; computer literacy; and ability to maintain a vehicle that meets Exotic standards for cleanliness and safety.
  • Personal Qualities: Organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
