Sales Development Representative

About the Role:

As a Sales Representative at Graybar, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. Your primary objective will be to sell Company products and services, while also providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow customer accounts through effective sales strategies and relationship-building.
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings to stay informed about Company products and services.
  • Meet or exceed assigned annual sales and margin budgets through strategic sales planning and execution.

Requirements:

  • Ability to negotiate and persuade customers to purchase Company products and services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience required.
  • 4-year degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis.

Benefits:

  • Full-time, salaried, exempt position with a predictable work schedule.
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, or depending on business needs.
  • Paid time-off, including 3+ weeks of vacation, sick time, and volunteer time.
  • Competitive compensation package, including a starting hourly rate of $24.04, with opportunities for commission-based earnings.
