Role Summary:
The Sales Development Executive will play a crucial role in promoting guided travel, identifying new growth opportunities, establishing new client accounts, and nurturing long-term relationships with both travelers and travel professionals.
This position involves traveling within the designated territory to advocate for the advantages of Collette's travel offerings, actively supporting marketing initiatives, and engaging with potential clients regularly.
The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new accounts and maintaining existing relationships to achieve and surpass revenue targets aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Collette, collaborating with travel professionals to promote and educate them about our products, ultimately driving revenue in the assigned territory while meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
- Effectively close both B2B and B2C sales through strong communication and analytical skills in accordance with the sales strategy.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities to enhance revenue and expand market presence by leveraging technology, building relationships, and conducting in-person meetings.
- Gain insights into existing and potential partnerships within the assigned territory to develop a strategic approach that aligns with sales and company objectives.
- Utilize data to ensure that activities are aligned with priorities and are yielding the desired results in terms of revenue and market share.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are effectively communicated, expectations are managed, and repeat business is cultivated.
- Lead training sessions for travel professionals regarding the Collette brand, product offerings, special promotions, and effective sales techniques.
- Actively engage in educational and developmental opportunities such as sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows, contributing to personal and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, although a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- A proven track record of achieving high levels of success and overcoming challenges in business, academics, or athletics.
- Strong skills in relationship development and management.
- Excellent communication abilities across various platforms and to diverse audiences.
- A proactive, trustworthy, and self-motivated approach to business.
- A growth mindset that encourages continuous development.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.

- The ability to work independently through problem-solving and utilizing available resources.
- Willingness to travel overnight, potentially up to 5+ nights per month, including domestic and international sales trips.
