Position Overview:

As a Lead Mission Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of project management within our organization. Your expertise will be essential in guiding clients towards achieving their objectives by enhancing their IT infrastructure, utilizing AIOps to boost operational efficiency, and broadening service capabilities to adapt to evolving departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of cutting-edge digital solutions, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to enhance the DevSecOps pipeline across their operations through automation and innovative practices.
  • Navigate a dynamic environment to steer Agile project development, establish key milestones, and implement performance metrics to monitor progress.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration to drive impactful results.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software development methodologies, change management, and code management tools, including Jira.
  • Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems, containerized environments, and CI/CD principles.
  • Ability to create effective sprint plans, lead productive team meetings, and produce high-level documentation for client presentations.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage personnel, processes, and multiple projects while collaborating across various functional teams.
  • Capacity to swiftly adapt to changing priorities and resolve unexpected technical challenges while effectively communicating risks.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, including Security+CE.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BMC Remedy or similar hardware/software workflow systems.
  • Proven track record of working with vendors to maintain support and renew product licenses.
  • Knowledge of Operations Monitoring, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Observability, or AIOps.
  • Ability to delegate tasks and share knowledge effectively within the team.
  • Strong prioritization skills, effective communication, and the ability to raise risks to senior management while balancing team capabilities.
  • Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL v4 Digital and IT Strategy, or Scrum Master (CSM) are advantageous.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
