Job Title: Field Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Specialist to join our team at Experis. As a Field Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for performing server deployment and maintenance in our data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and maintain servers and switches in racks
  • Un-rack servers and rack replacements
  • Install and configure Ethernet, fiber, and power cabling
  • Replace disk drives and memory
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot simple hardware issues
  • Organize and manage packages coming in and out of the data center
  • Conduct fiber work, including scope, light meter, and cleaning
  • Report damage packages to Logistics

Requirements:

  • Experience in a data center environment
  • Ability to lift pounds and move equipment for several contiguous hours/days
  • Proficiency in both English and local language in country of assignment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Laptop, cell phone, driver's license, and basic set of hand tools
  • Daytime (8 am - 5 pm, M-F) availability for training
  • Night and weekend work may be required at some points
