Position Overview: Senior Patient Services Coordinator

The Senior Patient Services Coordinator acts as the primary staff member within the practice while also fulfilling the role of a patient service representative. This position is pivotal in facilitating the training of new employees and serves as the initial point of contact for inquiries regarding procedures, challenges, and the Epic system. Under the guidance of the Practice Manager or Supervisor, the Senior Coordinator will contribute to the formulation and execution of objectives, policies, and operational procedures for the practice.

Position Requirements:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one to three years of experience in a healthcare setting is essential.
  • Previous experience in training, mentoring, or supervisory roles is preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records is required, along with familiarity with Microsoft Word and/or Excel.

Work Schedule:

  • Day shifts are scheduled from Monday to Friday, with potential for evening or weekend hours. In Immediate Care clinics, shifts may vary between 8 to 12 hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • This role will primarily be based in Salisbury, with responsibilities extending to various locations as needed.
  • The candidate is expected to be available for response during emergencies.
