Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Resident Care: Develop and implement care plans, ensuring residents receive the necessary support and services.
  • Manage Scheduling: Create and maintain resident care schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
  • Maintain Resident Records: Accurately and efficiently maintain resident records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Communicate with Healthcare Providers: Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Supervise Care Staff: Provide guidance and support to care staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance resident care.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing, therapy, and social services, to ensure comprehensive care planning.
  • Provide Education and Training: Develop and deliver education and training programs for care staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and record-keeping.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Qualifications: Must meet minimum criteria to perform as a Supervisor in Charge in the State of North Carolina.
  • Education and Experience: Must be a licensed Medication Technician, CNA with at least one year of experience preferred.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Must demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and guide care staff.
  • Knowledge of Senior Care: Must have knowledge of community agencies and an appreciation for social and life history status of residents.
