Our client, a prominent entity in the transport and logistics sector, is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sales Manager to enhance their Air & Sea US division. Role Summary:

As a Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell our client's transportation and logistics solutions to potential clients. You will work closely with the sales team and various departments to ensure that customer needs are fulfilled and revenue goals are met. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional sales capabilities and comprehensive knowledge of the transportation and logistics landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement sales strategies to meet revenue objectives.
  • Identify and pursue potential clients through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Build and sustain relationships with clients through consistent follow-ups and meetings.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure client requirements are satisfied.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with clients.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and provide insights to the management team.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience with a proven record of success in the transportation and logistics field.
  • Understanding of international trade and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in freight forwarding or customs brokerage is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
