We are in search of a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Developer to enhance our Global Rental Digital Marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about digital marketing, self-driven, meticulous, and possesses strong analytical skills. A solid technical foundation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, along with a comprehensive understanding of customer journey design and execution, is essential. Experience with email/SMS campaign workflows, deliverability best practices, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and deployment methodologies is required.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute and refine comprehensive email marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the broader digital marketing team and stakeholders to synchronize an email calendar and manage associated projects.
  • Assist in overseeing timelines and communication strategies across diverse audience segments.
  • Lead the production of email and SMS/mobile marketing programs.
  • Configure and manage Journeys and Automation Builder effectively.
  • Work with Digital Analysts to ensure campaigns are launched with appropriate tagging, source tracking, and link structures.
  • Coordinate with Campaign Management, CRM, and IT Teams to facilitate audience lists, data flows into/out of SFMC, and campaign tracking/reporting.
  • Guarantee timely and accurate execution of Journeys.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing, development, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is mandatory.
  • Strong skills in HTML and CSS coding specific to email.
  • Familiarity with email testing and optimization techniques.
  • Able to collaborate with various stakeholders to manage expectations and foster trust.
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving capabilities focused on achieving business objectives.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with minimal oversight.
  • Experience with project management tools, preferably Jira.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience with mobile-first and responsive email design strategies.
  • Familiarity with marketing tagging and tracking platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Adobe Analytics is preferred.
  • Experience with third-party email tools like Litmus, Sparkpost, and MovableInk, along with knowledge of their optimal use.
  • Basic understanding of AmpScript or similar personalization languages.
  • Knowledge of SQL is advantageous.
  • Salesforce certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Thorough understanding of compliance regulations, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email marketing best practices.
