Position Overview: Marketing Operations Specialist
The Marketing Operations Specialist will be instrumental in refining marketing processes, improving data quality, and ensuring effective collaboration among various marketing teams. This role involves the implementation and management of systems, vendor partnerships, tools, and analytics aimed at enhancing the success of our marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in marketing operations, data analytics, and project management. Your contributions will be vital in optimizing workflows and introducing automation strategies that advance marketing initiatives within the U.S. defense sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the marketing technology ecosystem to improve campaign efficiency and lead generation across diverse channels.
- Manage relationships with external marketing vendors, including pay-per-click (PPC) services.
- Ensure integration of marketing platforms with other business systems for a unified technology environment.
- Establish tracking mechanisms, monitoring reports, and forecasting for web analytics and performance measurement.
- Design effective workflows for mapping lead journeys and managing sales funnels.
- Support the marketing technology needs of various teams.
- Create dashboards and reports that provide insights into critical marketing metrics.
- Evaluate campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends to inform strategic adjustments.
- Collaborate with IT for security assessments and website performance evaluations.
- Manage marketing automation processes such as audience segmentation and lead scoring.
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance marketing workflows and operational efficiency.
- Document marketing processes to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate account and contact information lists.
- Collaborate with marketing, business development, and IT teams for cohesive marketing efforts.
- Provide training and support regarding marketing technologies and processes.
- Plan, execute, and assess marketing campaigns in alignment with organizational objectives.

Basic Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing operations, automation, and analytics.
- Proficiency in managing a marketing technology stack:
- Required Experience: HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics,
- Preferred Experience: Salesforce, AdRoll, Cvent, Zoom
- Strong technical aptitude for quickly learning new software.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in project management and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management skills for coordinating multiple tasks.
Approximately 5% domestic travel may be necessary.
