Position Overview: As a vital contributor to the sales team at McKibbon Hospitality, the Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in driving revenue for the hotel properties. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, this position demands a high level of expertise and commitment to achieving the business objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales and revenue generation for designated segments as assigned by the Director of Sales.
  • Ensure compliance with brand and company sales initiatives, staying informed about updates and changes.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with property owners, management companies, and clients.
  • Enhance guest satisfaction and experience across all operational areas.
  • Actively engage with the local community to represent the property positively.
  • Monitor and respond to emails and voicemails on a daily basis.
  • Review daily sales reports and participate in sales meetings as directed.
  • Utilize the Delphi system for managing sales activities, including tracking leads and lost business.
  • Conduct research and prospecting for assigned leads, setting appointments and conducting tours.
  • Implement proactive sales strategies for both new and existing accounts as directed.
  • Welcome and assist in-house meetings and manage group block schedules.
  • Provide valuable insights to the operations team for the development of the Budget Workbook.
  • Engage in sales training sessions as recommended by management.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Associates or Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in hotel sales is preferred.
  • Previous hotel management experience in various roles is highly desirable.
  • Experience with major hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, or Starwood is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to support operational teams effectively.
  • Proficient in implementing and maintaining sales documentation.
  • Skilled in making revenue management decisions to enhance market share.
  • Experience in developing proactive sales strategies through direct outreach and client engagement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Delphi Standard and Essentials or Delphi Advance is highly desirable.
