The Sales and Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in driving revenue for the property, reporting directly to the Director of Sales. This position is integral to achieving the business objectives of McKibbon Hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales and revenue generation for designated segments.
- Stay informed on new sales initiatives and ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Foster positive relationships with property owners, management companies, and clients.
- Enhance guest satisfaction and experience across all operations.
- Actively engage with the local community to represent the property.
- Regularly check communications and review daily reports.
- Participate in daily sales meetings and review relevant calendars and task managers.
- Document all sales activities and maintain accurate records in the sales management system.
- Conduct research and prospect for new leads.
- Schedule and conduct appointments and tours with potential clients.
- Implement proactive sales strategies for both new and existing accounts.
- Welcome and assist in-house meetings and manage group bookings.
- Provide valuable insights to the operations team for budget preparation.
- Engage in recommended sales training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Associates or Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of one year experience in hotel sales.
- Previous experience in hotel management is highly desirable.
- Experience with major hotel brands is a plus.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong support for operational teams.
- Capability to maintain comprehensive sales documentation.
- Experience in revenue management decision-making.
- Ability to develop proactive sales strategies through direct outreach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with sales management software is highly desirable.
