Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sales and revenue generation for designated segments as assigned by the Director of Sales.
  • Ensure compliance with brand and company sales initiatives and stay informed on updates.
  • Foster positive relationships with management, property owners, and clients.
  • Enhance guest experience and satisfaction across all operations.
  • Actively engage with the local community to represent the property.
  • Monitor and respond to emails and voicemails on a daily basis.
  • Review daily operational reports to assess performance.
  • Participate in daily sales meetings as directed.
  • Manage the Delphi calendar for accounts, groups, and functions.
  • Track and follow up on overdue tasks in the Delphi task manager.
  • Document all sales activities in Delphi, including traces and lost business.
  • Examine the in-house guest ledger and arrival lists for assigned hotels.
  • Conduct research and pursue leads as assigned.
  • Schedule appointments and conduct tours for prospective clients.
  • Engage in proactive sales efforts for new and existing accounts.
  • Welcome all in-house meetings and assist with their setup.
  • Support the operations team in preparing the Budget Workbook.
  • Attend recommended sales training sessions for professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Associates or Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel sales is preferred.
  • Prior hotel management experience in various roles is highly desirable.
  • Experience with major hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, or Starwood is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to support operational teams effectively.
  • Proficient in managing sales documentation.
  • Capability to make informed revenue management decisions to enhance market share.
  • Skilled in developing proactive sales strategies through direct outreach and client visits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Delphi Standard and Essentials or Delphi Advance is highly desired.
