Sales Territory Development Specialist

We are an Independent Manufacturer's Representative firm that targets product to the residential and commercial cabinet industry.
Compensation PackageThe salary and commission for this position are commensurate with experience. A strong 401K package with benefits is also included.
This Territory Sales Representative role involves developing, managing, and providing sales support to assigned marketplaces. The marketplaces consist of small cabinet shops, woodworking shops, kitchen dealers, larger OEMs, and wholesale distributors. Responsibilities include demonstrations, training, technical assistance, sales prospecting, customer relationship management, customer sales calls, and distribution sales support.
Required Skills and Qualifications- An undergraduate degree closely related to business, sales, or marketing.
- Computer, CRM, and email skills are required.
- Prior experience in the woodworking industry would be helpful.
- A team player who enjoys working with others as well as individually.
- Solid teaching skills, along with a strong technical aptitude.
- Maintaining a strong customer service focus.
- Finding it easy to adjust one's behavior to deal effectively with other people.
- Being organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
- Influencing the opinions and decisions of others while being empathetic to their needs.
- Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships.
