Role Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Lead is essential in supervising a team of proficient maintenance technicians, ensuring the maintenance and repair of production machinery. Key responsibilities include planning and scheduling maintenance tasks, coordinating efforts to meet quality benchmarks, and collaborating with management to fulfill safety, cost, and delivery targets. The role also involves contributing to brand integrity and driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a comprehensive log of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials necessary for machinery repairs.
  • Address quality issues and provide insights to production, engineering, and quality assurance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, proactively identifying and resolving safety concerns.
  • Monitor and manage equipment downtime, striving to improve operational efficiency.
  • Generate necessary reports, schedule technician training sessions, and supervise equipment installations and modifications.
  • Maintain employee records and assist in quality investigations as required.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in leading maintenance teams.
  • High school diploma required; Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in industrial multi-craft maintenance and familiarity with automated systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
