A. Role Overview
In this position, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee all internship initiatives and facilitate both field and executive recruitment processes.
The Specialist will conduct research, devise, and execute effective recruiting and staffing methodologies to attract a diverse array of qualified and capable candidates for Gregory Construction.
B.Key Responsibilities:
Act as an advocate for recruitment
Stay informed on regulations and trends within the industry to ensure compliance.
Exhibit exceptional organizational abilities
Maintain professionalism in all interactions.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Possess the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Be self-driven and capable of working independently.
Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
C. Primary Duties Include:
Additional responsibilities may be assigned:
Collaborate with hiring managers to establish strategic hiring objectives, staffing requirements, and necessary qualifications for roles.
Engage with key recruitment professionals and executive search firms to strategically fulfill hiring needs for the organization.
Partner with hiring managers to develop and publish job descriptions, evaluate resumes, and reach out to potential candidates to arrange interviews.
Clearly communicate job expectations to candidates.Review, update, and maintain job descriptions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Oversee the maintenance of the applicant tracking system.
Manage the interview process for mid-level and senior recruitment.
Administer web-based recruiting platforms. Utilize recruitment software and technology to attract top talent.
Welcome new hires by planning and executing onboarding and organizing employee orientation.
Coordinate and manage all facets of the college co-op/internship program, collaborating closely with Managers and Supervisors to ensure its success.
Build relationships with key local universities to attract candidates for both co-op/internships and full-time positions.Coordinate and participate in college and career fairs.
Leverage social media and online platforms to enhance recruiting efforts.
Assist with additional tasks as required.

Communication: Exhibits excellent communication skills, including listening, asking clarifying questions when necessary, writing, and a keen attention to detail.E. Education and Experience: A Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive recruiting experience, ideally within the construction sector.
Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams...).
Experience with Applicant Tracking software (Jazz HR preferred).
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Demonstrated strong communication skills in both oral and written formats.
