Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Manager is tasked with formulating innovative talent acquisition strategies that align with JobsOhio's initiatives, particularly our incentive programs for project companies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to provide insights on industry trends and best practices while developing tailored talent acquisition plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of national sourcing trends and serve as the expert in recruitment methodologies, including out-of-state recruitment strategies.
  • Stay informed on the latest sourcing and recruiting best practices, ensuring a proactive approach to tools and resources.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with sourcing vendors, acting as the primary contact for vendor-related issues and concerns.
  • Evaluate various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recommend the most suitable tools for client needs.
  • Communicate relevant national and statewide trends to stakeholders and leadership, utilizing data to enhance sourcing strategies.
  • Assess and customize Talent Acquisition Services for diverse companies, identifying their unique needs and candidate engagement strategies.
  • Identify gaps in clients' talent acquisition processes and propose tactical solutions.
  • Support clients in relocation efforts and provide assistance tailored to specific regions.
  • Coordinate with the project delivery team to ensure effective implementation of talent acquisition services.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of talent acquisition tactics, making recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
  • Review and enhance talent acquisition procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate innovative sourcing strategies and make fiscally responsible recommendations.

This role may require travel throughout Ohio to engage with clients, vendors, and stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate talent acquisition, recruitment strategy, or sourcing.
  • Experience working with clients across various industries or in a recruitment agency setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in utilizing data to inform talent decisions and enjoy research and data analysis.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate across teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Knowledge of current employment practices and diverse talent attraction methods.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems, ATS, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other recruitment platforms.
  • Proven ability to identify effective recruitment strategies and relevant performance indicators.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
