Job Title: Technical Writer Specialist

About the Role:

Management Solutions LLC is seeking a skilled Technical Writer Specialist to support the Department of Energy Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations. As a Technical Writer Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documents that support the department's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

* Meet with DOE stakeholders to understand their technical writing needs and develop documents that meet their requirements
* Engage with subject matter experts to synthesize complex content into clear and concise documents
* Identify key questions to be asked and/or needs to be addressed of subject matter experts when developing technical documents
* Prepare policies, procedures, guidance manuals, and other guiding documents to support the Department of Energy's Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations
* Manage the document development process from inception through submission to deliver technical documents on schedule

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
* 5 years of experience in technical writing, or 8 years equivalent combination of education and/or related experience
* Proficient in MS Office Suite, with strong ability to leverage these tools for template development and formatting
* Excellent ability to proofread and edit a range of written material
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with team members, federal clients, subject matter experts, and other key stakeholders
