Job Overview

The IT Specialist at Toyota/Lexus of Knoxville is a key role in our Auto industry team located in Knoxville, Tennessee.

This full-time individual contributor position is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to dealership employees, as well as maintaining the dealership's network and computer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and professional technical support and assistance to dealership staff.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, including hardware and software updates.
  • Monitor and maintain the dealership's network and security systems.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all IT systems and procedures.
  • Oversee data backup and disaster recovery systems.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new systems and upgrades.
  • Train dealership staff on proper use and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and trends in the Auto industry.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and hardware.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy computer equipment.
