Financial Coordinator

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a highly skilled Financial Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Shared Services department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general Accounts Receivable duties, including diagnosing incoming units, disassembling, repairing, assembling, and preparing items for shipment.
Responsibilities- Accounts Payable: Enter all invoices for payment, reconcile vendor statements and open PO receipts to ensure all invoices are entered in a timely manner, and respond to vendor payment inquiries and escalate vendor issues as necessary.
- Time Keeping and Payroll: Set up new employees in ACS, process all daily ACS time clock entries, prepare and send all temp employee time weekly, prepare and send weekly and bi-weekly payroll files, and prepare and send any payroll adjustments.
- Vacation Tracking: Track all hourly employees PTO and prepare Vacation Accrual Journal Entry.
- Petty Cash Management: Manage and verify all petty cash distributions and prepare monthly petty cash journal entry.
- Intercompany Billing: Verify intercompany jobs are coded correctly and billed through ACS or Journal Entry as appropriate, and prepare cost transfer Journal Entries for intercompany billings.
- Credit Card Payments: Enter and process all credit card transactions for Beaumont service center.
- Assist in Month End/Year End closing and inventory duties as assigned by Accounting Manager.
- Support Procurement and Customer Service as needed.
- Ad Hoc Reports and other duties as assigned by Accounting Manager or AGM.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
- Minimum 3 years Financial/Accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft AX, NetSuite, Traverse, ACS systems preferred.
- Experience with customer portals, like Ariba, Coupa, Taulia, etc. preferred.
- Experience in month-end close, AR & AP, preferred.
