Job Overview

Position: Project Manager
Reports To: VP of Operations


Role Summary: The Project Manager serves as the key leadership figure for the field team, holding direct responsibility for site safety, financial outcomes, and team growth. This role is essential in organizing and supervising construction processes to ensure timely and efficient project completion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and analyze Subcontracts
  • Prepare purchase orders
  • Oversee procurement of materials, rental equipment, and forming systems
  • Act as the intermediary between Subcontractors and Owners
  • Manage and submit proposed changes to the Owner
  • Lead weekly project meetings
  • Prepare monthly billing statements for the Owner
  • Maintain logs for proposed changes and appendices
  • Establish and manage the construction schedule
  • Monitor project progress and oversee its execution
  • Facilitate timely material deliveries as required
  • Assist the Superintendent with architectural details and submissions
  • Review weekly progress updates
  • Analyze monthly job cost reports
  • Supervise the safety program
  • Conclude projects to ensure final payments, including warranties, as-built drawings, and maintenance manuals
  • Oversee the Quality Manager
  • Engage in Value Engineering discussions
  • Estimate project expenses
  • Ensure completion of the project startup checklist
  • Maintain consistency across all projects
  • Participate in Design-Build meetings
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science/Management is preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in Construction Management is preferred
  • 7+ years of supervisory experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Familiarity with RedTeam Construction Management Software
  • Experience in construction job cost management
  • Knowledge of Gantt scheduling
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Work Schedule:
40 hours per week, with standard hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Friday.
