About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mortgage Banker to join our team at Renasant Bank. As a Mortgage Banker, you will be responsible for originating and processing residential mortgage loans, building relationships with realtors, builders, and other industry professionals, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and process residential mortgage loans, including conventional, FHA, VA, and other loan products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, and other industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including communicating loan status, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, as well as other performance metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and product offerings to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, closing, and customer service, to ensure seamless loan processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and other events to stay informed and engaged with the team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to originate and process residential mortgage loans, including conventional, FHA, VA, and other loan products.
  • Thorough knowledge of mortgage banking procedures, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and sales performance.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Due to the possibility of being exposed to high-risk situations (i.e. robbery), detailed instructions and procedures are required to be followed at all times to safeguard the Bank's employees, customers, and assets.
