Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an Applications Scientist to join our Scientific Applications Support team. This role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of customers, providing both pre- and post-sales technical assistance for our innovative product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will:
1. Interact with customers to deliver timely support and address inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
2. Document all customer interactions in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
3. Analyze customer data to troubleshoot product usage and applications effectively.
4. Participate in the complaint triage process, identifying root causes and facilitating resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Manage custom design requests from intake to completion.

Essential Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant scientific field such as biology, biochemistry, or molecular biology, or a Bachelor's degree in life sciences.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in genomics applications within an industry or academic research laboratory.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify key issues and develop solutions using critical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous.
