We are in search of a driven individual eager to expand their expertise and laboratory skills in the field of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology and genomics research. The selected candidate will be engaged in our high-throughput NGS laboratory, which plays a pivotal role in providing sequencing technology support and developing genomic applications that benefit the research community.

The role will involve:

  • Assisting in single cell molecular profiling and the generation of sequencing data.
  • Participating in various stages of sample preparation, processing, library construction, sequencing, and in-process analytical quality control.
  • Utilizing automation tools to enhance laboratory efficiency.

Comprehensive training on all relevant protocols and workflows will be provided, along with supervision until the candidate is confident in performing tasks independently while adhering to established standards.

Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the advancement of innovative single cell and NGS applications aimed at large-scale, high-throughput genomics initiatives. By leveraging a range of cutting-edge genomics technologies, the individual will play a vital role in multidisciplinary projects focused on drug discovery and development.

Qualifications:

  • A B.Sc. degree in Biology or a related field, complemented by hands-on research experience in an academic or industry setting is preferred. Familiarity with NGS technology is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commendable work ethic and a genuine motivation to contribute significantly to projects that aim to enhance patient therapies and improve lives.
